Who we are

Marriage Introduction Network is a marriage introduction platform for families. Profiles are created by candidates or by a parent or guardian on a candidate's behalf, and introductions are made only after both sides agree.

Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address, mobile number and password.
• Profile details you provide: date of birth, height, education, profession, location, marital status, language, ethnicity, religious practice, lifestyle answers, a short bio and photos.
• Activity: profiles you save, introductions you request or receive, and messages you send.
• Technical data: device, browser and log information used to keep the service secure.

How we use your information

To create and operate your account, show your profile to relevant families, deliver introductions and messages, verify identity and photos, prevent fraud and abuse, and send you the account notifications described below. We do not sell your personal information.

SMS messaging

When you enter your mobile number during sign-up and check the consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Marriage Introduction Network at that number. We send two kinds of messages:

• One-time passcodes to verify your number when you create an account or sign in.
• Account notifications: reminders to finish setting up your profile, reminders to complete identity verification, alerts when a mutual introduction is made, and reminders to respond to a pending introduction request before it expires after 48 hours.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we never share or sell mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you opt out of SMS you can still use the service and sign in by email.

Sharing

Profile information is shared with other families on the platform according to your privacy settings, and with a partner masjid only if you associate your profile with one. We use service providers for hosting, database storage and SMS delivery, who process data on our instructions only.

Your choices

You can edit or hide your profile, pause it, or delete your account at any time from your settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and messages from the platform. To request a copy of your data or ask a privacy question, contact us at the address below.

Children

The service is for adults. Candidate profiles must be for people aged 18 or older.
