What MaryamsList is for

MaryamsList exists for one purpose: genuine marriage introductions between families. It is not a dating service, not a hook-up service, and not a place to advertise any other kind of relationship or arrangement. Every member must be 18 or older, and every candidate profile must describe a real adult who has consented to being represented.

Strictly prohibited

We have zero tolerance for the following. Accounts are removed immediately and permanently, and we report to law enforcement where required:

• Human trafficking of any kind, including sex trafficking, forced labour, servitude and the recruitment, transport, harbouring or transfer of any person for exploitation.
• Sexual exploitation, commercial sexual services, escorting, prostitution or any solicitation of sexual activity.
• Any content involving a minor, and any profile created for or depicting a person under 18. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
• Forced, coerced or non-consensual marriage arrangements, or creating a profile for someone without their knowledge and consent.
• Aiding, abetting, facilitating or encouraging abuse, exploitation, coercion, stalking or violence against any person.
• Fraud: fake or impersonated profiles, catfishing, romance scams, requests for money, gifts, cryptocurrency, immigration sponsorship in exchange for payment, or any financial solicitation.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discriminatory abuse directed at any member.
• Sexually explicit or nude imagery, and sharing intimate images of any person without consent.
• Copying, screenshotting, scraping or redistributing another member's profile, photos or messages outside the platform.
• Illegal activity of any kind, and any use of the platform to arrange it.

How we enforce this

• Every member must pass identity verification — a government photo ID plus a live selfie — before they can message anyone. Date of birth is confirmed from the ID, so under-18s cannot participate.
• Joining is invitation-based or by reviewed application, not open public signup.
• Messaging only opens after both families agree to an introduction.
• Our team reviews reports and can suspend or permanently remove accounts, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.

Reporting a violation

Report anything that breaks these rules to support@maryamslist.com. Include the member's name and what happened. We review every report and usually respond within two business days. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also reach the National Human Trafficking Hotline on 1-888-373-7888.
